You have been enjoying the many features offered by Heredis for several years now and we thank you for your loyalty.
As you know already, Heredis evolves every year. Today, Heredis 2020 is considered as one of the best genealogy software by the genealogist community.
Recent technical evolutions are no longer adapted to former versions of Heredis. We can no longer guarantee technical assistance if you are using a Heredis version of 2015 or older. Despite our best efforts, the risks of anomalies and data loss are increasing each day.
Therefore, we are no longer able to help you or repair your file if you are using a Heredis version of 2015 or older. However, we will do our best to help you migrate to Heredis 2020 upon your request.
Since your Heredis version was created, we have come up with new features and updates to better assist you, as always, in constructing your family trees. New graphs, new data entry methods, and simplified searches. It has all been thought out to make your job easier and more comfortable.
To take advantage of these improvements while securing your data, we strongly advise that you update Heredis to the 2020 version if you are using Windows 8 or 10; in the process, you will also benefit from the new features that have been added since your last version was created. The same applies if you are using Mac Sierra (10.12), High Sierra (10.13), Mojave (10.14) or Catalina (10.15). Switching to Heredis 2020 will allow you to receive continuous technical support for your software.
End of compatibility for Heredis 2014 and 2015 with Heredis Online
Additionally, we are currently updating our infrastructure to better serve you. This update generates disturbances and will very shortly lead to incompatibility issues between Heredis 2014 or 2015 and the Heredis Online genealogical research service.
We strongly recommend you migrate to Heredis 2020, providing your operating system allows you to do so, and continue to take full advantage of the Heredis Online genealogy research service.
