COLLECTING INFORMATION

We collect suggestions from our users throughout the year to design a new version. The collection is conducted during exchanges we have by email, on the phone, or during our various meetings (training workshops, genealogy shows, interactions with genealogical societies...).
We are proud to say that each improvement starts from the users’ suggestion.

COLLABORATING

We work closely with our beta testers to improve the quality of our software programs.
Every year, we organize meetings to discuss the software with them and build privileged relationships.

BRAINSTORMING

We communicate a lot with every member of our team, both from a technical and a user point of view.
We all do genealogy, which allows us to better understand the needs of genealogists. We take part in the vote for new features, suggestions....

DEVELOPMENT

The software is designed in the South of France – in Montpellier – but also all over France thanks to the expansion of telecommuting! The software is developed using agile project management methods.
The development and marketing departments work hand in hand to design a state-of-the-art and high-quality software.

TESTING

|
We perform in-house testing of the new features and improvements of the new version to fix any potential glitch.
Beta testers also evaluate and test the new version to validate it before it is launched.

LAUNCHING
|
|
The launch of each new version of Heredis implies numerous actions to be performed: designing new visuals, writing the sales pitch, presenting the new features on the website, creating product sheets, elaborating a specific page for the online store, etc.
The launch of a new version definitely entails lots of team work!

UPDATE
|
|
Following the release, Heredis is in your hands. Thousands of genealogists are discovering the latest version.
This is why we release an update a few weeks after the initial launch of a new application. The purpose of this update is to fix any issues that could not be detected during our beta testing phases.
