Coming up - your Android application

Many of you are waiting impatiently and it's coming in January!
We are talking about the Heredis application for Android. Over 2 years were needed to develop this new application and it's going to be free!

The Heredis application for Android will be free just like our iOS application. Initially it will offer the essential functions: sending files, viewing, navigating genealogy ... In the coming months, it will offer exactly the same features as its counterpart on iOS.

This application will be compatible with Heredis 2015 for Windows and Mac, that is to say, it will work with the 2015 and later versions only. Earlier versions will not benefit from Android compatibility.

We hope the Play Store will post the Heredis application as soon as possible. In the meantime, upgrade to Heredis 2015 to be totally ready to use your Android application and to take your genealogy anywhere!

The Heredis team is growing

4 new recruits are joining the Heredis team this month! We have a multitude of projects underway or in an embryonic state, so we needed to reinforce the troops to be able to move forward and answer your many requests ;-).

Here's a look at the new kids!

Julien, developer for the Windows platform, reinforces the existing team. An avid developer, he has proven himself as an R & D Engineer specializing in computer development tools with a microprocessor design company. In his spare time, Julien develops video games.
Bilal, after several years of experience with a temporary agency, is being integrated into the Heredis technical support team. He will be in charge of responding to forums. Another characteristic: he's a film buff.
Efia, web developer, will be here to work on all Heredis internet related projects. For example, in the 2015 version of Heredis, the new online Archives feature offers you a fully integrated web browser in your software: no need to return to your Internet browser software since everything is in Heredis.
Gregory is a computer enthusiast who loves self-learning. He created his first program at age 9! He will work as a C ++ developer on the Heredis Windows version. Gregory is versatile: he can also act as backup on other projects as needed. On a personal side, he learned to play piano by himself for 2 years!
